What was he talking about when referring to the computer program where a NSA employee can watch a person's thought process? Someone told me it was a malware keylogger but I don't believe that. A geek like Snowden ain't gonna say "ohmigod" over a stupid keylogger.

I don't think it was a keylogger he was talking about. Watch that part again. Snowden says at the end "...and then change it." He gets cut off by the interviewer but you can clearly hear him say "change it". This obviously means "mind control"
